The 2019 edition of the Adapted Cycling Cup of Spain came to an end this past weekend with a double date in Mazarrón and Puerto Lumbreras.
The two Murcia towns were responsible for firing the national circuit, which this year has had nine tests and a remarkable level both sports and organizational.
Mazarrón's competition, which took place throughout Saturday morning in Camposol, put the victory for four categories of Handbike into play.
Luis Miguel Giner was the winner in H2;
in H3 the victory was taken by Alfonso Ruiz after the abandonment of the medalist in the last World Cup Luis Miguel García-Marquina;
and in H4 the glory fell to Martin Berchesi who surpassed Vicente Yanguez.
Finally, note that in H5 the success was for Iván Manuel Montero.
Among the female handbikers, the best in classes H2 and H4 were Natalia Victoria and Milagros López.
In Mazarrón, there was representation of all existing classes on bicycles.
Carlos Sarrias took the victory in C1, in the same way as Antonio García in C2.
In C3 dominated Luis Javier Arcega;
while in C4 we witness a beautiful sprint for the victory between Jorge Orejón and José Manuel Dosdad in which he ended up imposing the first of them.
In C5, the outcome was similar and Rubén Tanco was in charge of taking the glory ahead of Francisco Miguel Castelló and Manuel Pérez.
Among the women, Carmen de Felipe, in C4, and Miriam Martínez, in C5, won the test.
Regarding the tandems, the winners in Mazarrón were Félix Martín and Immaculate Concepción Martínez.
Once the test was over, trophies were handed out by the Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, and the Councilor for Camposol and International Relations, Silvana Buxton, who were accompanied during the ceremony by Marcelo Escudero, representing the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation, and Joaquín López, representing the Murcia federation.
