The Minister of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, Beatriz Ballesteros, met today with the deputy mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the councilors of Citizen Participation, José María Moreno, and Civil Protection, Francisco José García, where he put highlight the deterioration situation of the building that currently serves as the Civil Protection headquarters in the municipality.

The counselor has pledged to study the possibility of contributing to her rehabilitation to have a municipal emergency coordination center.

The municipality's adhesion to the Emergency Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fires in the Region of Murcia (Infomur Plan) was also proposed, which would mean activating forest surveillance in the municipal area.
