The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Local Police of Mazarrón, has developed the 'Pincrush' operation to clarify several robberies and thefts committed in Puerto de Mazarrón, which has resulted in identification, location and detention in fraganti of the alleged author of the facts.
After the operation, which is framed in the 'Plan against theft in homes', four crimes of robbery with force and theft committed in real estate and vehicles have been clarified so far.
The proceedings began in mid-October, when the Civil Guard detected the commission of several robberies inside vehicles and homes in Puerto de Mazarrón-Mazarrón.
The first investigations carried out allowed to verify that thefts inside vehicles were committed using the same modus operandi: breakage with a blunt object of one of the windows of the vehicle and the subsequent subtraction of valuables and easy commercialization that were inside .
On the other hand and also using force against doors or windows, robberies were committed inside holiday homes, both criminal typologies in the town of Puerto de Mazarrón.
As a result of the investigation carried out and thanks to citizen collaboration, a 38-year-old woman could be identified, without a known address and with a police record, who was allegedly after the authorship of the crimes under investigation.
In collaboration with the Local Police of Mazarrón, members of the Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita initiated a search device on the suspect, who, after detecting that he was being sought, initiated a strong mode of concealment to avoid being located, as spend the night in different places of the municipality, either outdoors or in uninhabited homes, the flight being habitual in the presence of the agents.
In one of the searches carried out by Ordenación Bahía, a patrol of the Local Police of Mazarrón detected the presence of the suspect, so a joint device consisting of Civil Guard and Local Police patrols was quickly started to track the area.
The device culminated when the suspect was located by entering a home to hide from the agents, although it was finally located and detained.
The house where she was arrested was with all the rooms scrambled, drawers thrown on the floor, blankets taken out of the closets, suitcases full of objects, a television bundled in a blanket all prepared to be taken from the house, in addition to the damage caused in the bars and doors of the house to enter inside, being finally located in one of the rooms of the house, hidden under the bed.
The detainee, the recovered effects and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Totana (Murcia).
