Mazarrón has attended the Murcia Gastronomic fair, held between November 8 and 11 in the capital of the Region, with a stand enabled by the Department of Tourism in which several restaurateurs and businessmen of the municipality promoted local products, especially those of Mazarrón Bay.
Likewise, the Tourism Department carried out a promotion of the 'Fiestas del Milagro' with the distribution of the program of celebrations among the attendees and the route of the cover held in Bolnuevo until Sunday 17, as well as information on routes and activities that can be carried out in the municipality throughout the year.
The establishments 'La Nueva Bodeguita', located in Puerto de Mazarrón, 'La Inesperada' in Mazarrón and the company 'Garum Salazones' have been responsible for promoting local cuisine with different offers made with local products.
Especially interesting were the proposals of salmorejo made with Mazarrón tomatoes that, in addition to ham and egg, carried some salted and papaya;
the sweet rice of Mazarrón Bay with white shrimp and octopus from our coast, our own land salted fish, tomatoes donated by Agrimur and vegetable pie.
