The artist Isabel Guillermo, a member of the plastic arts group 'Almagra', will be this year's preacher of the Patron Festivities in honor of La Purísima.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 23 at the Parish Hall of Mazarrón from 9:30 p.m.
Isabel Guillermo has participated in all the exhibitions of the 'Almagra' Group held since its inception in 1985. Apart from these activities, Guillermo has also exhibited collectively in places as prominent as the circle of Fine Arts in Valencia or at the Universal Exhibition of Seville of the year 92, crossing national borders by also exhibiting in Buenos Aires at the Biennial of Contemporary Art, among other festivals and contests in the Argentine city.
The Mazarronera painter has also exhibited individually in the Medici Gallery of Seville, also in the Cultural Athenaeum of the aforementioned Andalusian city or in the 'Valle Inclán' room of the Madrid City Council, as well as in exhibition halls of the Region of Murcia.
In 1992, Guillermo was awarded the 'Murcia Joven 92' prize for Painting and has also been a jury of the Painting Contest Cultural Foundation of Aeronautical Constructions CASA of Seville and in the Competition of Outdoor Painting and Poster Contests for the Fair both of the Hispanic town of Mirena del Aljarafe.
The artist has actively participated in the Patron Saint Festivities through various exhibitions and is the author of the paintings that illustrate the cover and back cover of this year's holiday book.
