The CAMONMAR3 project ends the environmental itineraries with a walk through Puerto de Mazarrón (22/11/2019)

On November 30, all those interested in the fishing, cultural and natural heritage of Mazarrón have an appointment with the CAMONMAR3 project, which closes its cycle of environmental education activities of 2019 with the interpretive itinerary A walk through Mazarrón: Reserve -te Cabo Tiñoso.

The visit includes a walk through the fishing port of the town where we will see boats dedicated to trawling, fence, longline or trasmallo, among others-, a tour of the fish market to know the main species of fish that are caught and the climb to the lighthouse built in 1861 on 16th-century defense towers designed to repel the attacks of the Berber pirates - where an interpretation of the coastal and marine landscape and biodiversity will be carried out.

The morning will culminate with a visit to the Salazón Museum, in which we will discover the importance of this fish conservation industry during Roman times.
