The councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña, also took part in the event, who, in addition to congratulating the preacher, explained, as his first proclamation of patron celebrations as mayor of the area, that "a few months ago a new challenge was presented before me , I had no doubts, I wanted to work for my municipality and that is what I do every day, making the best of myself. Minutes before the proclamation, Isabel Guillermo was received in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall by almost all of the Municipal Corporation.

There he signed in the honor book of the City Council, as is the tradition of all preachers, and received a surprise in the form of a very special gift from the mayor.

The gift was a copy of a story with a drawing of the proclamation appearing in a school newspaper in which it was announced that Isabel Guillermo had been awarded in a drawing competition in 1980 and that it is kept in the Municipal Archive of Mazarrón.
