Cycling returns to be protagonist this Saturday 14 in Mazarrón with the celebration of the III edition CX 'Bahía de Mazarrón' GP E-FINISHER that will take place in the Sports Complex of the Media Legua from three in the afternoon as The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, and the president of the Probike Mazarrón Cycling Club, Enrique Belchí, organized the event together with the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia.
Belchí explained that "it is a cyclocrós test, a modality that was forgotten and for which the new directive of the federation of regional cycling is betting. Now there are already 10 regional tests of this type that are carried out" .
Cyclocrós is a discipline in which a circuit is made with obstacles that must be overcome by athletes, who are even forced to get off bicycles to overcome them.
Belchí added that "three races will be held. The first one, starting at 3 in the afternoon, with the participation of cycling schools. Half an hour later it will be the turn of the Masters and, finally, about 4:30 later the third and final manga will be held in which the Elites, U23, Juniors, Cadets and Females will participate. "
Participants will have to face a 2.5 kilometer course.
The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, encouraged the neighbors to approach the citizens to the Sports Complex of the Media Legua because "they can enjoy an appointment in which there are already about 100 enrolled as well as 70 children from schools" especially encouraging to families "to publicize the cyclocrós sport among the little ones since it is a sports modality that also serves as training".
