The district of Balsicas celebrates its festivities from Saturday 21 to Saturday 28 December with a program that combines tradition with other recreational activities and, in addition to being celebrated on the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Innocents, honors the patron saint of municipality, the Purísima Concepción.
The celebrations will begin this Saturday with the announcement by the neighbor of the district Salvador Ardil Moreno from 9 at night.
Next, a tribute will be made to Francisco García Vivancos and José García, 'Burro Mayor' and 'Panderetero' respectively.
The night will continue with a dance exhibition by Juan Antonio Iglesias' school and a remember party by DJs Mateo Dj and Horacio Dj.
On Sunday, December 22, the events will begin at 4 pm with a costume party and the election of Queen and Infant King and Adult Kings.
This children's party will feature ZOE Animation, children's games and free bouncy castle.
At 5 in the afternoon there will be a musical bingo and then the performance of Esencia Karaoke and Los Faustinos.
The program will resume on Friday, December 27 at 8 pm with the play 'The park of the bachelor' by the theater group of the Center for the Elderly of Mazarrón which will be followed by a gang meeting in which the clusters of Isla Plana, La Aljorra, Vergel de las Torres and Las Balsicas will participate.
On Saturday, December 28, the procession will be held in honor of the patron saint with Easter singing from 9:30 in the morning with the accompaniment of the band of drums and bugles.
At 1:30 in the afternoon a contest of crumbs will be held for which the festival commission will provide flour and oil, with the best crumbs being awarded.
In the afternoon, after 4, there will be male and female caliche and musical bingo.
At half past 5 the performance of the De Rosa dance school will take place, with a snack for all the children attending.
At 7 pm it will be the wizard Guillermo Avilés' turo and after 8:30 pm the music will return with the performances of MC SOZE and Jota Rock.
Sunday 29 will be the last day of the festivities that will begin at 10:30 in the morning with Easter singing and jotas sung and danced by the gangs of Las Balsicas and La Aljorra.
At half past one in the afternoon the Mass will be held with Easter song in honor of the patron and, after this, the traditional brays will be given with Bartolo 'El Taibilla' and Paco 'The Minister' as brayers.
To close the traditional morning, Paco 'El Choto' will give way to the Easter song bid.
At 3 in the afternoon, attendees can taste a giant paella during which a musical bingo will be held.
At 6 in the afternoon a popular festival will take place enlivened by singer David Andreu and a piñata whose winner will be presented with a surprise gift.
The festivities will end with a fireworks castle.
