The departments of Services, Coastal Services and Environment have designed a work plan with the Actúa company that aims to improve and improve the beaches of the urban area of ​​Puerto de Mazarrón.
Although we are still in the low tourist season, the City Council has thus initiated the planned annual plan for the beaches to be in perfect condition throughout the year.
In three days, these works have been completed on the beaches of Rihuete, Paseo, La Ermita, Bahía and La Reya, as well as in the area of ​​the 'Agustín López Cano' viewpoint.
Works that will be carried out periodically consisting of weed removal, weeds, containers, return of sand to the beach, etc.
This same Thursday it is the turn of Bolnuevo beach, Friday at Alamillo beach and so on until they are all finished.
To complete the action, the Department of Services has intensified the cleaning work in the area of ​​the promenade of Puerto de Mazarrón, especially affecting the adjacent streets and the stairs that lead to the aforementioned promenade.
In this way, the City Council enhances the image of the coastal town throughout the year as a tourist destination that, due to its climate, can be enjoyed both in high and low season.
