The Pensioners and Retirees Club of Mazarrón held its Ordinary General Assembly this Sunday during which the traditional plates were handed over to the oldest member and member.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the Councilor for Social Policy, Miguel Ángel Peña, delivered the corresponding plates.
The councilors of the Government Team Plácida Gómez, Tomás Ureña, Francisco José García, Raquel Raja and Silvia García also attended the event.
Juan Pérez Martínez, president of the club, and Magdalena Asensio Pérez were the elders who received the aforementioned recognition.
Likewise, the Club of Pensioners and Retirees of Mazarrón also wanted to recognize the City Council and the Department of Social Policy for their work delivering plates to Mayor Gaspar Miras and Councilor Miguel Ángel Peña.
During the assembly, economic management and activities were reported during the year 2019. In the section of new members' high and low, last year 43 new members and 12 new members were registered.
Gaspar Miras closed the event wishing all club members a 2020 full of activities and proposals, always with the support of the City Council, said the mayor.
During 2019, club members have been able to enjoy maintenance gymnastics, yoga, canteen, ladies and gentlemen's hairdressers with special prices for members and members;
in addition to daily press, local press or free internet, among other activities.
The appointment was closed with a raffle of gifts among the attendees.
