The Town Hall Plenary Hall will host this Friday the presentation of the María Muñoz mazarronera book entitled 'Now we act'.
The presentation will be provided by the Councilor for Culture, Ginés Campillo, and the author herself, who is a native of the village of La Atalaya.
Luisa María Heredia, president of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) will also participate in the event, which will be the entity to which the benefits of the sale of the publication will be destined and Clara Pérez, a graduate in Art History and Arabic Philology
The book includes four plays whose purpose is not only to have a good time reading or representing, but also to make people think and, above all, act on issues as relevant in today's society as are the promotion of reading: "Fantasy in trouble";
equality: "Give me a sign";
Healthy eating: "A special party" and solidarity: "Christmas illusion".
Hence the double meaning of the title with the word "act."
María Muñoz is the daughter of parents dedicated to agriculture and since childhood she likes to read and write.
He graduated in Hispanic Philology at the University of Murcia and is dedicated to teaching and writing, especially small plays that he usually plays in class or at end of year parties.
