20 participants enjoyed this weekend the painting workshop given by the Madrid artist Alejandro Carpintero at the Casa del Mar in Puerto de Mazarrón.
The painter himself and the Councilor for Education, Conchi Aparicio, handed out the participation diplomas to the students of the initiative launched from the Department of Culture.
During the workshop, participants learned, both theoretically and practically, different aspects related to artistic creation as well as methods for the organization of work, the creation of sketches, the choice of models, the presentation of the finished work and photography of the works.
Also, attendees were able to delve into different styles of art such as realism, impressionism and post-impressionism;
as well as work with various techniques and other aspects of great importance such as the use of light, color, texture, expression, etc.
The activity covered its places a few days after launching from Town Halls, which denotes the interest that this type of initiatives is generating that aim to promote the artistic creation and personal and professional development of the citizens of Mazarrón.
