The Department of Archives and Libraries, in its work to promote the artistic and literary creation of the citizens of Mazarrón, launches one more year the VIII edition of the poetry contest 'Declara-Te', both in the form of adults and the addressed to the students of the municipality.
In both cases, the theme of the poems will be love and the participants, whether adults or students of ESO and Baccalaureate, must be registered in the municipality of Mazarrón.
The works, which must be original and unpublished, may not be awarded in any other contest and will consist of one or several poems with a maximum length of a sheet, in Arial font size 12 in a mandatory manner.
Each work will be headed by a title and will be delivered in the Libraries of Mazarrón and Puerto in a closed folio size envelope in which they will put a pseudonym and title of the poem.
The envelope will contain a plea (small envelope) with the personal data of the author, which must include his name and surname, ID, full address, telephone and email and also, in the case of students, the study center, course and group to which it belongs.
The original admission period will be until February 21.
Three vouchers, worth 200, 150 and 75 euros;
and three boxes of experiences for the same value will be the prizes that the winners of the student and adult modality will receive respectively.
The winners agree to participate in the poetry recital organized by the council.
