This Sunday, accompanied by an excellent day of sunshine, 600 athletes cited around the Erosions of Bolnuevo to participate in the VII Cross Trail 'Calas de Bolnuevo' organized by the Mazarrón Bay Sports Club with the collaboration of the City Council of Mazarrón and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU), as well as the Cycling Club 9 and ½ that participated so that the development of the test was again a success.
Three races made up the test.
One of 21 kilometers away, another of 11 kilometers and a third with this last distance that could be made by those who took part in the hiking path, since the appointment runs through the virgin coves of Bolnuevo in a privileged environment and every year there are more hikers who participate to enjoy this natural place while doing sports.
In 21 kilometers, the winner of the test was Guillermo Otero of the 'Runtritón Caratgena', followed in second place by Juan Miguel Albaladejo of the 'Aulaplus pekabo Triatlón Murcia' and Manuel Gázquez of the 'CEX Cartagena' which was third.
In females, Lidia Morales of the 'Mobel Automenor Running' was the winner of the long distance.
With her on the podium she was accompanied by Conchi Ballesta from 'CA La Manga' and María Dolores Noguera.
In 11 kilometers, the male podium was composed by Miguel Ángel Mudarra who came first, followed by Javier Navarro and Victor Rodríguez who were second and third respectively.
In females, Beatriz Pérez was the fastest to travel the 11 kilometers ahead of Noemí Rodríguez, who was second, and Verónica Gil, third.
When it comes to local athletes, Miguel Ángel Ballesta was the best place in 21 kilometers along with Francisco Fernández and Oscar Vivancos, who were second and third.
The best local women in this distance were Conchi Ballesta, Pilar Orenes and Emilia Berenguer.
In 11 kilometers the local podiums were composed by Andrés Sánchez, Diego Moreno and Mark Jessop in men and Isabel Montilal, Arantxa Sánchez and Mercedes Férez in females.
The Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, and the Councilors for the Environment, Plácida Gómez, and Tourism, Raquel Raja, were in charge of delivering the awards with the president of the Mazarrón Bay Sports Club, José Manuel Lorente.
