The Sports Pavilion 'La Aceña' hosted last Thursday the 23rd day of School Sports 'Playing Athletics' in which the schools of the municipality participated in both male and female categories.
The centers competed in the 10x10 tests, side jump of obstacles, jumps on foot together, ball throwing, javelin throwing and relay race.
In the men's category, CEIP Ginés García won as winner of the day.
In second place was the Manuela Romero school and thirdly the children of the San Antonio school.
In the women's category, the champion team of the day was the CEIP Francisco Caparros, followed in second position by the Ginés García school and closing the podium in third position the girls of the CEIP Manuela Romero.
The councilors of Sports, Francisco José García, the Culture, Ginés Campillo, and the Citizen Participation, José María Moreno, were responsible for delivering the medals to the winning teams in each category.
In addition to the aforementioned centers, the schools La Cañadica, Bahía, Miguel Delibes and Siglo XXI also participated.
