This Sunday has started the Regional Bike Trial Championship in the permanent circuit of Mazarrón.

The more than 50 participants of this cycling modality have enjoyed a trial morning in the complete area of ​​the Mazarrón Sports Complex chosen by the organization for this start and composed of rocks, tires, prefabricated and urban material.

The test began at 9:30 in the morning with the departure of the Promise, Beginner, Alevin and Infant categories, completing a total of 4 zones 3 laps.

At 11:30 the upper categories competed: Cadet, Junior, Open, Master 30, Master 40 and Elite, which also made a total of 4 zones at 3 laps.

Raúl Herrera has been proclaimed champion in the Elite category accompanied on the podium by Daniel Cegarra, who has been second, and Juan Francisco Sánchez, in third position.

The winners of the upper categories have received their trophies from the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the Councilor for Sports, Francisco José García, and the president of the Bike Trials Club Cartagena, Francisco Martínez.

The appointment has been possible thanks to the organization of the Bike Trials Club Cartagena, the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of the City of Mazarrón that have joined forces so that everything went perfectly.
