Mazarrón said goodbye to this year's Carnival yesterday with a spectacular parade in which 10 foreign clubs marched through the center of the town.
A parade that opened the school, the dance school and the five local clubs that won the Mazarron carnival parades, which were held on February 22 and 23, complementing the clubs that came from outside and that was one of the most important beginnings. apotheoses who are reminded of this final parade, since it also had two floats in which the Children's Muse and the Muse went, on the one hand, and the Youth Muse along with other members of the 'Los Salaitos' club, on the other.
As far as foreign clubs are concerned, Librilla's 'Media Luna' troupe won the first prize of the parade with 300 euros.
In second place, and obtaining a prize endowed with 200 euros, was the rock 'I tell you dancing' that came from the neighboring municipality of Totana.
Finally, and in third position, was the rock 'Sinergia' of Águilas (it was the first time that a rock of Águilas paraded at the Mazarrón carnival) that won 100 euros for the third prize.
The awards ceremony was given by the mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the councilor of Festejos, Miguel Ángel Peña, and the mayor Plácida Gómez, Raquel Raja and Francisco José García, who were accompanied by the Muso Juvenil, Juan Carlos López.
Awards were also given to other foreign participants and they were 'Rosazul' (Sangonera La Verde), 'Dakarais' (Sangonera la Verde), 'Esencia' (Totana), Nuevo Encanto (Mula), Maracaná (Alcantarilla), Samaná ( Mule), and Toucan (Sangonera La Verde).
