The Center for Municipal Employment Initiatives (CIME) has launched a new web portal that has been presented by the Councilor for Employment, Training and Local Development, Placida Gómez, along with Elisa Martínez, training and employment information technician, who They appeared at a press conference to present this new web portal aimed at "workers, businessmen and entrepreneurs, since all the CIME offers and initiatives are included in it," as Plácida Gómez commented.
Specifically, it is a portal that can be accessed through the address https://mazarron.portalemp.com/index.php dedicated to job search, information to entrepreneurs and all those who want to improve their situation labor.
Elisa Martínez has affirmed that "it is an initiative that we had been demanding for years and that since last week it is already being carried out through courses for its management".
The work of the Center for Municipal Employment Initiatives (CIME) becomes essential, since there will be classrooms dedicated to those citizens who do not have access to the Internet from their home.
Although, as explained by the mayor Placida Gómez "the portal is also dedicated to companies, in order to facilitate the work of looking for workforce."
This tool allows people to register autonomously through the official website of the City Council of Mazarrón (www.mazarron.es).
Although, for those people who do not perform independently in Internet management, the programming of training workshops has been implemented every week from Monday to Thursday.
They will also have a classroom at CIME every day at 12 noon.
In addition, 30-hour courses of digital competence will be carried out with the intention that citizens are able to manage themselves on any job website that is of interest to them.
"Once, they develop naturally in this activity, on Fridays from 12.00 to 14.00, employment entities will be invited to come and help register our plaintiffs," said the CIME technique.
On the other hand, what has been called "meeting" has been organized in the area of ​​transversal competence.
These are conversations in English between English-speaking volunteers and local citizens, in which each session will deal with a different topic of an area of ​​employment.
This activity begins on March 16, every Wednesday from 11.30 to 12.30.
It has also been explained that in April, along with the collaboration of the Department of Agriculture, phytosanitary courses, safe tractor management, first aid course, safe forklift handling and fruit handling and vegetables.
Finally, the Councilor for Employment, Training and Local Development has encouraged the population "to go to CIME and use the employment portal, as it is a new opportunity to develop their training, both personally and professionally."
