The City Council of Mazarrón, as a preventive measure to prevent the celebration of acts in which there are agglomerations of people, has taken the decision to postpone the scheduled events from the Department of Celebrations on the occasion of the feast of San José.
This has been announced by Miguel Ángel Peña, mayor of festivities, and José María Moreno, councilor of Puerto de Mazarrón, where the parties are held.
What does remain is the celebration of the San José Tapa Route that will take place from Friday the 13th to Sunday the 22nd of March, both inclusive.
"10 establishments participate in this edition," said Miguel Ángel Peña, who stressed that "to participate in the raffle for the prizes you must complete a minimum of 6 passport stamps that can be withdrawn at the Tourist Office and in restaurants and participating bars. "
For the winner who completes the entire route, a prize of 2 nights from May 22 to 24 has been prepared for the Hotel 'Best Alcázar' 4 * of Almuñécar in Full Board for 2 people.
Likewise, different prizes donated by the participating establishments are contemplated.
Passports may be deposited, once completed or with a minimum of 6 stamps, in the aforementioned Tourist Office located in the Plaza Toneleros of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The councilor of Celebrations has explained that "to avoid agglomerations, in this phase of containment of the coronavirus that lives in the Region of Murcia, we have decided to postpone the holidays as a prevention measure".
A decision that has been endorsed by the Councilor of Puerto de Mazarrón, José María Moreno, who stressed that "health is prioritized over any celebration, following the recommendations that come from the Ministry of Health," both sending a message from peace of mind and remembering the importance of following the advice and recommendations of health authorities.
