The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, and the councilor for Health, Francisco José García, attended last Wednesday a meeting of the Area II of Health in Cartagena held in the port town where, along with other mayors and health authorities of the Autonomous Community , treated safe and coordinated actions against the coronavirus epidemic.
The meeting also evaluated the situation in Area II, to which Mazarrón belongs, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, learning about the preparation and organization of the public health system to effectively combat it.
The mayor, Gaspar Miras, transmits to the general population "that they follow the recommendations established by the health authorities, since overcoming this health emergency that we face is everyone's responsibility."
The first mayor has indicated that "the health system is prepared to effectively fulfill its need, now it is all the general public that has to follow its guidelines; continuous hygiene, maintain safety distances of 1.5 - 2 meters between people and fundamentally stay at home "
