The Mazarrón City Council is taking extreme measures with regard to disinfection and cleaning work against the coronavirus.
In this sense, the Department of Services has proceeded to intensify these works with special attention to the districts of the municipality, as well as in the areas of medical centers, through the workers of 'Bahía de Mazarrón' and the companies Actúa and Orthem .
Likewise, a thorough disinfection work is being carried out on municipal vehicles, especially those of the Local Police force, through a specialized company.
Schools are another of the points in which these disinfection works are being carried out by the company Actúa so that, once the confinement is finished, the schoolchildren can return to the classrooms in complete safety for their health.
The Councilor for Services, Tomás Ureña, has indicated that these disinfection tasks will continue throughout this week, along with the work that is being undertaken to alleviate the effects of the rains that have fallen during the last hours in the municipality.
