| This second distribution is a measure to support protection measures that go through the control of mobility and compliance of hygiene and public health measures | During today and tomorrow, 3,600 masks provided by the Government Delegation in Murcia are being distributed in the municipality in public transport nodes, traffic routes and accesses to work centers, such as industrial estates or areas of activity, within the campaign activated by the Government of Spain for health in public transport.

Said distribution is being carried out by members of the Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection. In addition, within this second mask distribution campaign, the Government Delegation, in coordination with the FEMP and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, has also contemplated the protection of essential services personnel and vulnerable groups.

In this way, the Local Police, Fire, Civil Protection, Civil Guard, Social Services and the nursing home in Mazarrón now have 4,800 masks to carry out their functions with maximum security. In total, 8,400 masks to increase safety in the de-escalation, but, as the Government delegate, José Vélez, recently stated, "this distribution is a measure of support for the health protection measures adopted by the central government and that it goes through the control of citizen mobility, especially with respect to the age slots for walks and sports, and maximum compliance with hygiene and public health measures.
