| The Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, has highlighted the great work of nurses during the evolution of the health crisis | This Tuesday, May 12, is celebrated the International Day of Nursing and professionals in this sector asked the municipalities to keep a minute of silence at 12 noon at the doors of the consistories in tribute to those killed by Covid-19. The event in Mazarrón was held at the gates of Town Halls with the presence of the Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, the spokesmen for the municipal political groups Plácida Gómez (PSOE), Ginés Campillo (UIDM), Marisol Vivancos (Citizens) Carlos Corvalán (VOX) and Sara Redondo representing the Municipal People's Group. The Mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, thanked "the great work that Nursing professionals are doing during this pandemic since without their involvement and help this health crisis would have been very different", extending that congratulation also to the relatives of male and female nurses "because of the risk they have taken during confinement". The first mayor has also dedicated a few words of support to the Nursing College of Murcia and has encouraged professionals in this sector to continue carrying out their important work with this implication, both in these times of health alarm, and throughout all his professional career.
