| On the occasion of the LGBTI Pride celebration, a photography contest has also been launched in which you can participate from June 28 | The Councilor for Equality, Miguel Ángel Peña, together with Mª Isabel Carrillo, social worker and representative of the entire CAVI team, have appeared this morning to present the new campaign 'MAZARRÓN POR LA IGUALDAD', which has been carried out thanks to the Grant from the Pact Against Gender Violence received by the City Council every year.

In addition to influencing this problem, this is the first institutional campaign that also focuses on the fight against homophobia.Peña explained that a different initiative will be carried out than the one that has been taking place years ago in the celebration of the LGTBI Pride due to the situation that we are in due to COVID-19 and that "this new campaign consists of the installation of identifying signs in different significant points of the municipality such as the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Avenida de la Constitución, Casa de la Cultura, Institutes, Paseo Marítimo and Bolnuevo "with slogans" YOU DESERVE YOU WANT WELL "," LOVE ALWAYS WINS "," BREAK YOUR SILENCE "AND" LOVE MAKES US THE SAME "."A campaign that is carried out with the aim of relating the municipality of Mazarrón as a free pioneer of Gender Violence and against Homophobia, coinciding this week with the celebrations of the LGTBI collective for the claim of their rights and freedoms for more fifty years.For greater visibility, it has also been decided to carry out a photography contest, free to all citizens, and which, as Mª Isabel Carrillo explained, "will consist of taking a photograph together with the different signs located throughout the municipality and sharing it on his Instagram account tagging the department @igualdadmazarron ".

Said photographs must be previously sent to the mail mazarronporlaigualdad@mazarron.es, attaching the participation document hosted on the municipal website.The deadline to participate in this contest will be from June 28 to August 15 and on Tuesday, August 18, the winners will be published in the account of the Department.

There will be three winners, and in addition to presenting them with an appreciation award for participating, they will be able to enjoy the following awards:1st weekend for two people at the Hotel Sosiego on a bed and breakfast basis.2nd diving baptism for two at the Southeast-Bachisub Diving Center3rd Dinner for two at the restaurant "La Vuelta"
