For his part, the mayor, Gaspar Miras, wanted to convey his thanks to his government team "who have made this cultural, tourist and festive program possible, thus motivating citizen participation for this summer in record time, because the situation of the health crisis he had us in doubt, not knowing if we were going to be able to put this series of activities into effect.
" In this way, he wanted to highlight the first mayor, who "after this situation and through the Department of Celebrations has wanted to move to various neighborhoods and districts of our municipality, from an initiative called 'Veranos de Barrio' in which Neighbors and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant time with the projection of various films.
" Lastly, Miras stressed that this is a fairly comprehensive program and that, for its part, "all that remains is to invite all citizens and visitors to Mazarrón to participate in these activities with sufficient prudence and the safety and hygiene measures that we have to to carry out in this atypical situation that we suffer at the moment ".
