| Films aimed at all audiences with limited capacity and following security measures before COVID-19 | From the Department of Tourism, together with those of Culture, Celebrations and Youth, an extensive program of activities has been prepared for this summer 2020.
One of the bets of Tourism is the installation of a summer cinema on the Island Beach, every Tuesday, during the months of July and August, with screenings at 22:00.Raquel Raja, responsible for the area, explained that "our goal is for both residents and visitors to enjoy the activities that we have prepared with so much effort and that, because we are facing a different summer, we need to respect the measures of security and distancing from COVID-19 at all times.
Hence, the activity has a special protocol for carrying it out.
"Raja added that "the summer cinema screenings started last week with the screening of the movie 'Chicken run, farm escape'." In this way, and if circumstances allow it, "every Tuesday a film will be shown, aimed at all audiences and with limited capacity," added the mayor.The order and date of the following films to be screened will be as follows:July 7: 'Billy Elliot'July 14: 'The Little Prince'July 21: 'Palm trees in the snow'July 28: 'Life is beautiful'August 4: 'Youngster Frankenstein'August 11: 'Spartacus'August 18: 'GRU2'August 25: 'The coup'The councilor wanted to thank the assistance of the residents and visitors of the town of Mazarrón to the various activities that are taking place, "that is why I encourage you to continue participating, as this program is totally and exclusively for you."
