| The Councilor for Tourism, Raquel Raja, was in charge of receiving the Quality and Safety Seal from the Mazarrón Tourism Office | The network of tourist offices in the Region of Murcia has become the first in Spain to receive the quality and safety certificate, 'Safe Tourism Certified', granted by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE).Yesterday 12 Tourism offices, among which is the Mazarrón Tourism office and two information points on the coast and Murcia capital, received this badge from the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports of the Murcia Region, Cristina Sánchez, and the director of ICTE, Fernando Fraile.In this sense, the Councilor for Tourism, Raquel Raja, was in charge of receiving the quality and safety seal from the Mazarrón Tourism Office.
Raquel Raja explained that this badge "represents a health guarantee by having implemented a Health Risk Prevention System against COVID-19 and which transmits safe tourism."The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, has expressed his satisfaction for the work carried out by the Department of Tourism, since this seal "supposes a recognition of the work carried out in achieving the objective of a safe and quality tourism service".
