In this way, they have been able to verify the development of this initiative and learn first-hand about the work carried out by the monitors since July. These schools are aimed at children from 4 to 12 years old, divided into small groups with the aim of complying with all safety and hygiene measures, and that have seven monitors and four volunteers from the Youth Red Cross, who from Monday to Friday, They teach both recreational and educational activities for a total of 53 students. In addition, it is a free activity in which access has been given priority to children whose families whose parents or parents are working, in active search for a job or an income not exceeding 3 times the Iprem.

In this way, Councilor Miguel Ángel Peña stressed that this is an important effort made by the local administration "with the aim of reconciling the lives of the families of the municipality during the summer, especially now more than ever, since we We are faced with a difficult situation, and these types of activities help to reconcile work and family life for the families of Mazarrón ".
