| 15 student-workers will receive training in the certificate of professionalism 'Installation and maintenance of green areas' | The Mazarrón City Council has received from the Employment and Training Service (SEF) a subsidy amounting to 153,402.45 euros with which it will launch a mixed Employment and Training program for beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee.
The project, carried out by the Department of Local Development, Training and Employment, and called "HORTUS VIRIDI"; combine training with effective work. The purpose of this new program is the job placement of unemployed people through their professional qualification alternating with actual work.
Its objective is to improve the employability of the unemployed through their participation in works or services of public utility or social interest. Specifically, 15 student-workers will receive training in a first three-month stage in the certificate of professionalism 'Installation and Maintenance of Green Areas' and, in a second stage of 6 months, they will be hired by the Mazarrón City Council for the rehabilitation and enhancement of municipal green areas. The project is aimed at young people registered in the National Youth Guarantee System and the preselection will be carried out by the employment office of the Regional Employment and Training Service.
