| The Local Police will intensify its control and surveillance tasks that this last weekend they threw a total of 60 complaints for breaches related to anti-Covid measures The mayor of Mazarr�n, Gaspar Miras, has made available to the health authorities the municipal material and human resources necessary both to face the current situation due to Covid and for the vaccination program that the Murcian Health Service.

The councilor explained that "last Friday we offered to collaborate with the Health Centers both for the tracking system and for when the vaccination program for the elderly and at risk begins." In this way, it will be made available to citizens, especially those elderly and people at risk with mobility problems, "the means of Civil Protection and the Red Cross so that they can be transferred to the Health Center and, once vaccinated, returned to their homes "commented the mayor who has appealed to" the responsibility of all, both the administrations and the citizens.

" Gaspar Miras has also announced that "the Local Police will intensify the control and surveillance work so that the measures decreed by the health authorities are complied with." Some tasks that this weekend have yielded a total of 60 sanctions and that, so far this year, have already reached 117.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,489 complaints have been recorded and raised 450 informative minutes to public establishments.

So far, "Local Police has carried out 900 day and night controls, identifying 4650 people, and has participated in 370 surveillance of home isolation decreed by the health authorities", highlighted Gaspar Miras who has remarked that "we have to enforce with which we are transferred from said authorities to prevent the evolution of infections from increasing ".

The mayor recalled that Mazarr�n has passed to the level of 'Extreme Transmission' in the last Regional Committee for the Monitoring of the Covid of yesterday Monday and therefore "from 12 o'clock tonight we proceed to the perimeter closure of the municipality and to the closure of the terraces of the catering establishments that until today were operating at 75% ".

Gaspar Miras has called on the responsibility of citizens to reverse this situation so that in the next few days positive data will be obtained again to return to normality of the last weeks.

The councilor has appealed to this responsibility and commitment of the citizenry both because of the critical situation suffered by the regional health system that is saturated by the evolution of the data of the pandemic in the Region, as for the good of the local economy since, otherwise, it would suppose "a real ruin, not only for merchants and hoteliers, but for all the residents of our town".

In this sense, Gaspar Miras has begged "that the sanitary indications be followed and if we present any symptoms we confine ourselves and let our health center know about it.
