| The Councilor for Coastal Services will request measures to prevent the deterioration of the beaches from the storms | The wind storm that hit the municipality last week left several incidents in various parts of the municipality.

Two of them were the walks of El Castellar and Bolnuevo that were flooded with sand, dragged by the strong gusts registered. For this reason, the Department of Services and the municipal company 'Bahía de Mazarrón', together with the concessionaire 'Actúa', have proceeded to the recovery of these walks, removing the accumulated sand and also proceeding to clean them so as not to leave a trace of the storm . The Councilor for Services, Tomás Ureña, explained that "on Friday we had to act urgently in some points, mainly due to the fall of branches of some trees, and yesterday we proceeded to clean the walks of El Castellar and Bolnuevo affected by the sand that raised the wind.

" Likewise, and given the problem caused by the wind, the Councilor for Coastal Services, Raquel Raja, will request the Demarcation of Coasts to build a wall to protect these walks to prevent situations like this from occurring again, thus preserving also the state of the beaches.
