The hamlet of Cañadas del Romero has a population sector is closely linked to the various art forms like painting, shows it is the collective 'Cañadas del Romero Art Group'.

This group has recently exhibited his work in the Hotel Playa Grande de Mazarrón, the opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Foreign Residents Care, Jacqueline Gálvez.

The group creator of this exhibition, including foreign residents are mostly British nationals, is led by its director, George Thompson.
