The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Rural Development, Luisa María Heredia, have recently visited the state in which rural roads are the different districts of the municipality.
Blaya and Heredia have supervised the work site being developed in Leiva in the ways of The Big Churro and Higueras, in La Atalaya on the road to Las Yesera; in Majada on the roads of the cemetery and Cañete and Cañada de Gallego Camino de los Cuquis, where they estimate what are the most pressing demands for each zone.
These actions for improvement and beautification of the township roads are as determined to provide quality of life for citizens, especially the neighbors that usually circulate in these ways.
Safety, comfort and convenience are three fundamental premises on which revolve around these activities, the biggest beneficiaries being the people who live in the districts of the municipality.
This project, valued at an amount close to 100,000 euros, was financed entirely by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
