Starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 1, until Tuesday, August 31, will stay on continuously Copla Plan 2010 to ensure the rescue and surveillance on beaches, in the town of Mazarrón.
This plan will extend all the beaches in town with jobs in El Mojon, El Alamillo, the Rihuete, Port, The Island, Bay, La Reya, La Pava, Nares, El Castellar 1, El Castellar 2, Bolnuevo camping, Bolnuevo Percheles oases.
Positions, with qualified staff to provide first aid services will remain open daily from 11.30 to 19.30.
About forty people, including those who are lifeguards, beach coordinator and chief of operations, ensure daily for public safety on beaches.
These personnel will be seen increased, in case of emergency, with a pool of volunteers Mazarron amounting to an estimated 150 people.
The means and resources to fully consider this device are: rescue four bikes, a sea rescue vessel, fourteen rescue canoes, three SUVs, two Red Cross ambulances, a Specialized Medical Unit and Emergency Department of the Summa .
From Wednesday, September 1, to Sunday, September 12, the device will continue, reducing the number of posts in half, but to provide daily service to full capacity.
Copla Plan 2010 is valued at 254,382.74 euros, which is fed by a reversal of the Emergency Department of the Autonomous Region of Murcia and the rest is financed by the municipality of Mazarrón, for which security is one of the pillars of society.
The Civil Protection Department of the City of Mazarrón advises citizens and tourists to respect the signage at beaches so they can enjoy a completely normal vacation period.
