The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, developed today a working day in Mazarrón along with the mayor, Alicia Jiménez, to address and analyze educational projects in this municipality related to improvements in educational infrastructure.
In this regard, the minister announced that "the Ministry will rehabilitate the CEIP Manuela Romero de Mazarrón" to what is planned an investment of more than 90,000 euros to be allocated to the restoration of the roofs of the school.
Sanchez-Mora said that "the regional government esimportante that school have the best possible facilities in the centers, as indicated by our '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy, and continue to work to have better schools and a wider choice education in the municipalities of the region. "
In this regard, the minister recalled that "the regional government has invested over the past eight years, more than 3.6 million euros to further improve the educational infrastructure in Mazarrón".
During the work day, Sanchez-Mora visited one of the projects that have been developed, as are the facilities of the College of Education and Primary Miguel Delibes.
The facility is newly established and became operational in the 2011-2012 academic year and currently runs till 5th of Primary Education.

After visiting the center, the minister Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, accompanied by the management team of the Ministry held a meeting with the Mayor of Mazarrón and the councilors of the local governing board.
During the meeting also they agreed to work to implement new levels in the extension of the Official School of Languages ​​and the future implementation of new cycles of vocational training in the municipality.
Sánchez Mora concluded that "from the Ministry of Education will continue to work to enhance the quality of education in the municipality of Mazarrón, with the expansion of supply and improvement of infrastructure and schools in the town"
