The director general of the Employment Service and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, met with the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, to analyze employment programs and training that will launch the council with aid of 300,000 euros granted by the SEF.
Thus, the municipality will receive aid to promote the activity, improve and promote the carrying capacity of the unemployed.
To do this, it will develop two local public employment programs that include hiring a total of 16 people unemployed.
Specifically, the project 'Mazarrón Verde', for which eight workers will be hired will develop, and to adapt the environment to the bus station of Puerto de Mazarrón be hired eight young unemployed, beneficiaries of the National System of Youth Guarantee .
On training for employment, a training course on organization of transport and distribution, primarily aimed at unemployed workers will develop.
In addition to the training and employment of long-term unemployed over 45 years it will take place a course of ancillary activities in nurseries and gardens.
Zamora said that the municipality of Mazarrón "is having a positive behavior in job creation," since in the past year have created more than 460 new jobs, representing a growth of 5.1 percent, which is above the regional growth.
