The Center for Historical Studies Fray Pascual Salmeron and the City of Mazarrón have worked together to present the exhibition in the town "Ingenio and Technology in the Region of Murcia 1878-1966 - Discovering the inventors of Mazarrón".
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Thursday March 10 at 20:30 at the Cultural Center of Mazarrón where it will be on display until April 10, as announced by the Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martinez.
The exhibition includes seven Mazarron inventions, most of them related to mining activity, but were also recorded other patents as a type of candy, sold precedent that after a famous American brand.
information panels and some inventions in sight enrich the visit to this exhibition is aimed at the educational community, especially the Departments of History, Technology including Chemistry.
The inventors of Mazarron referred to are: Antonio Yepes, Maximiliano Neto, Alejandro Hostench, Luis Llorente, Jose Garrido, José Miras and Jose Abril.
The project "Ingenio and Technology in the Region of Murcia" first exhibited in Cieza in 2013 and intends to add to all municipalities, and Mazarrón the first that links to this cultural initiative, as noted by the head of the Municipal Archives, Magdalena Campillo.
