The Municipal Center building Employment Initiatives (CIME) of Mazarrón has hosted the IV Coordination Committee Youth Guarantee in which the municipalities of Aguilas and Mazarrón work.
The panel was chaired by the Regional Director of the Employment Service and Training (SEF), Alejandro Zamora and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, accompanied by the Councillor for Employment of the City of Mazarrón, Maria Angeles Román and councilors of Youth of the municipalities of Aguilas and Mazarrón, Christopher Casado and Patricio Sanchez.
He also attended the working meeting José Pérez, recently appointed new director of the SEF in Mazarrón.
The worktable proposed extending the age of non-labor practices at age 29.
In addition, four working groups related to activation (dissemination, collection and communication), orientation (path, support and monitoring), education and training (formal education, non-formal education, labor practices) and job creation was established , entrepreneurship and self-employment (relations with business, intervention actions with the business sector, shares of motivation for self-employment venture).
It also discussed the convening of Eurydice (internship program for businesses and youth) and proposed to conduct an advertising campaign to attract young people to the Youth Guarantee program.
The next meeting of the Coordinating Board will take place in the town of Aguilas.
This meeting was also attended technicians SEF, local development agents, technicians employment, youth guarantee, counselors of the IES Domingo Valdivieso and Felipe II, representatives of ASAJA and AJE Eagles, the ACOMA, Red Mazarrón Cross and a technical Informajoven among others.
