Mariana Isabel Lopez Ballesta read on the night of Saturday to Easter proclamation of Mazarrón.
The event took place at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in the presence of the parish priest of San Andrés and San Antonio, Francisco Jose Fernandez, managers and members of the Council of Guilds of Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón, president of the Confraternity of the Immaculate as well as the mayor, Alicia Jimenez, members of the government team and the municipal corporation.
The town crier, professor of IES Antonio Hellín, read a proclamation was reflected in his faith, his years of attachment to the parish and his love of Easter.
"Do not let superficiality and folklore distract us from our obligations as Christians" with this message ended his speech that was culminated with loud applause from all attendees.
The president of the Council of Guilds of Mazarrón, Laly Aguera, presented him with a commemorative diploma.
A very special moment was the one who lived in the temple during the delivery of the Nazarene of the Year recognition, posthumously, Andrés Navarro Aznar, who was president of the Council of Guilds and died last December.
The councilman of Culture, Pedro Martinez, gave him his family of a plate in which the appointment was reflected.
They spoke during the ceremony the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, the president of the Council of Guilds of Mazarrón, Laly AgĂźera, Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martinez and the parish priest of San Andrés and San Antonio de Padua, Francisco José Fernández.
The event was enlivened by the performances of the musical sextet "Almazarrón".
