From 8 to 10 April, will Mazarrón meeting point for professionals and amateurs in the world of film.
During that weekend will be held the Second Film Contest Survival organized by the Department of Culture.
"An event only serve to project the name of the municipality to highlight many of its locations as ideal locations for future filming" as he emphasized Pedro Martinez, Councillor for Culture, at the presentation ceremony.
The event will begin on Friday, April 8 with the reception of the participating groups.
Registration can be done in www.supervivenciafilmica.net.
The price is 70 euros for groups of up to 20 people.
Upon receipt, the drawing of a film genre, a location of the municipality and an element of surprise to be included in the realization of the film will be made.
From there will have 45 hours to present the final work on Sunday April 10.
The contest includes three cash prizes.
The short winner gets a prize of 1,000 euros and will be a second prize of 500 euros and a special prize of 500 euros which will assess the best use of a location of the municipality.
It will also be recognized this year as a novelty, best actor and best actress of the contest.
Film survival will be completed with a calendar of events that includes the screening of a documentary, the performance of the theater group Canalejas with a tribute to Cervantes (Friday, April 8, 20:00) or the screening of short films, talk with youtubers ( Saturday, April 9, from 17:00) and special concert of soundtracks (Sunday, April 10, from 17:00).
All activities will take place at the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón.
In addition, on April 1 in the auditorium doors of Murcia Castilla short ten participants will be screened at the first edition.
