The Department of Libraries of the City of Mazarrón has scheduled for this April a broad program that includes fifteen acts among which stands out as a novelty Creative Writing Workshop for Adults has the support of Jerome Garcia Jorquera.
The workshop will take place on 18, 21, 25 and 28 April.
It is an activity that adds to the Photo Contest "We like to Read", now in its third edition and is aimed at students in secondary schools in the municipality.
This contest will award the three best shots with 300, 200 and 100 euros.
Registration for the Creative Writing Workshop can be formulated in libraries Mazarrón and Puerto until 14 April and work for the Photo Contest can be delivered, also in both libraries, until 26 April.
The awards ceremony will be on April 29 at 20:00 pm in the Cultural Center.
The program has been presented today by Councillor Library, Patricio Sanchez and the head of the Municipal Archives, Magdalena Campillo.
The schedule of events is scheduled for April 14 the opening of the exhibition "Curious Books and Curiosities Neglected".
It will be at 18 am in Puerto de Mazarrón and 19 hours Mazarrón.
The exhibition will remain open until 20 May.

In the events of World Book Day, it has joined the Department of Culture with the creation of a book exchange program.
In the two municipal libraries a space for users to deposit the books they want and choose others who have deposited other users will be enabled.
This is an activity to promote reading, which seeks the involvement of citizens.
In addition, on Friday April 22 at the headquarters of the former People's University, the theater group "Tramoya" will perform the play "Don Quixote and Cervantes Genius".

On Wednesday April 27, Ricardo Esvay, professor at the University of Murcia, present the conference "Cervantes and the sea".
