The educational community of Secondary Education Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón Thursday held its traditional Conference on Coexistence.
Initiative celebrates its tenth consecutive year and responds to an inclusive purpose.
Students of 21 different nationalities live together in a center that as highlighted by the mayor, Alicia Jimenez, during his visit to the conference, "reflects the diversity and cultural richness offered by the municipality."
The mayor, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Patricio Sánchez, has visited different workshops and thematic classrooms that have prepared students and teachers in which some of the highlights of different cultures were collected.
For the head of Studies IES Antonio Hellín, Jose Hernandez, it is an activity, which sits over the years, which implies not only a teaching but also social.
The Councillor for Education, Patricio Sanchez, has encouraged other educational centers of the municipality to join this initiative.
Throughout the morning there have been various workshops and activities as well as exhibitions, scavenger hunts, photographic exhibitions and musical talent contest.
To highlight the different thematic classrooms as Moroccan, British, Erasmus and dedicated to research and classroom collaborative Day Centre Puerto de Mazarrón that adds to this coexistence to those over Puerto de Mazarrón giving learn traditional skills to youth in the municipality.
In addition, a solidarity linked to the "Axis Project" has been present throughout the morning in the courtyard of the school.
