On Saturday April 16, the Musical Association "Master Eugenio Calderón 'and the Association of Friends of Culture Chirivel (Almería) held a meeting in the Camping' Playa de Mazarrón Bolnuevo which began at ten o'clock.
Throughout the day musicians and partners carried out various activities that included, in addition to the mandatory testing bands music, sightseeing, games, pool, beach and food.
The day ended with a concert to benefit the initiative 'by Paula Smile' held at 19:30 in the courtyard of the Cultural Center of Mazarrón, which was attended by the Councillor for Culture of Mazarrón, Pedro Martinez, as well as mayor of Chirivel, Emma Sola and several mayors of Almeria municipality.
The concert began with the joint action of the bands music schools of the two municipalities, perfectly coordinated in the interpretation of five short pieces, including a fragment of 'Titanic' by James Horner, and closing, as is customary with the popular theme Queen, 'We Will Rock You'.
Then the bands featured together a masterful concert headlined the pasodoble 'Camino de Rosas' followed with' Expo 70 'and the extraordinary sound of' The site Zaragoza 'and ended with' The beaches of Rio , a work in three movements that are named the three famous beaches of Rio: Trocadero, Ipanema and Copacabana, beautiful music, typical mix of different musical styles of Brazil.
Music Teacher Association Eugenio Calderon is scheduled to visit Chirivel at the end of this school year.
