With this agreement aims Alicia Jimenez, Mazarrón irrigators will have this summer, the water they need.
As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, in this case, the supply is subject to the granting of use granted by the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, and must be compatible with the demands of current users of the desalination plant Valdelentisco.
Meanwhile, the irrigation community is committed to sue flows continuously to allow optimum operation of the desalination plant.
The community of irrigators in Mazarrón has about 1,500 villagers and 3,800 hectares of crops.
