Representatives of the Councils of Brotherhoods of the Easter of Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón, Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martinez and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, have signed the renewal of the annual agreement between the parties with the aim of promoting a party for I will work with the intention of obtaining the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest.
The agreement was extended until April 25, 2019 and gives the amount of 22,000 euros to both councils, representing an increase of 2,000 per year for each council.
The agreement includes collaboration expressed in previous years with the intention of promoting local traditions through the revaluation of Easter.
The agreement highlights the religious, cultural and touristic value of both appointments and notes ultimately achieving the declaration of regional tourism festival of Easter Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón.
The agreement commits the Councils to develop the processions of Holy Week, collaborating with the City in boosting all activities are reflected in the improvement of Holy Week in the municipality and give the Consistory those parts and elements necessary for exhibitions and displays.
