A week after holding a working meeting in City Hall, Francisca Cabrera, Director General of Commerce, Mazarrón again for a meeting with representatives of associations of merchants and craftsmen of the town this time.
The meeting, which was attended by the mayor, Alicia Jimenez and Councillor for Commerce, Marisol Vivancos, served to move some of the innovations presented by the new Integral Competitiveness Plan aimed at retail has approved recently the government of the Region of Murcia.
The meeting is part of the aim of promoting the sector in the municipality, adapting to new times and promoting new policies to encourage improvement.
Francisca Cabrera said that more than 40 performances that include different orders and subsidies for integration and development of small and medium businesses.
One of the topics had to do with the recent decree law allowing flexibility and release of opening hours.
Initiative which said Cabrera, "has generated an increase of more than 50% of employment in places that already have approved as is the case of Madrid".
Both the mayor and the mayor of Commerce noted the importance for Mazarrón its merchants because they are the economic engine of the town.
Those attending the meeting with both administrations used the meeting to convey their proposals and initiatives intended to overcome shortcomings and improve productivity.
