Students of Architecture at the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) presented last Saturday at the Cultural Center Mazarrón, about 30 work in order to provide new ideas for the future Interpretation Centre that will value Mine Mazarrón, as highlighted by the mayor, Alicia Jimenez, who welcomed the cooperation and interest shown by the team of teachers who led the project.
Alicia Jimenez said that the future Interpretation Center Mine is located in the vicinity of the factory Alum in Mazarrón.
"This is a performance that will develop in this term," Jimenez said.
After visiting the Coto de San Cristobal Los Perules students have presented very different proposals that meet the valorisation, respect for the environment and access.
José María López, director of the People's University of Mazarrón, collaborating in the project entity, noted that tara an initiative "is part of a larger idea defined in the creation of a new model of economic development which can overcome the shortcomings current ".
Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martinez, highlighted the work done by this group of university professors led by Lorenzo Thomas and Javier Zueco.
