The Center for Senior Day Mazarrón held last Friday the II Meeting of Choirs.
The day began with a welcome by the Councillor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, who gave way to a workshop led by Jose Ramon Rodriguez, director of the Coral Day Centre Mazarrón.
A convivial meal gave way to evening performances, initiated by the Polyphonic Choir of San Javier who played "Do, Re, Mi," "Maybe, maybe" and "Kumbaya".
Then it was the turn for the Coral Bay of Mazarrón Senior Center of Puerto de Mazarrón with the interpretation of "Maite" and "Sing Puerto de Mazarrón".
He closed the round of performances the Choir La Purisima Center for Senior Day Mazarrón with a version of "Andalusian Poets" with the participation of Antonio Balance and finally with the "Estudiantina Portuguese".
The meeting ended with a joint choral performance which showed the fruits of what they learned in the workshop in the morning.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez, and the directors of the Day Care Centers of Mazarrón and Puerto attended an event that culminated with thanks and twinning between participating choirs.
