Throughout this week, the Archaeological Roman Factory Museum Municipal Salting of Mazarrón has designed a program of cultural diffusion aimed at students in fifth and sixth year of primary education in the municipality that has been entitled: "The People and the wood".
This learning experience has allowed students to enter on a journey from prehistoric times to the present, through relevant testimonies of cultures that have populated the present territory of Mazarrón.
One hundred tools from replicas scrapers in flint, axes and adzes of polished stone to bastrenes, gouges or chisels have served to show a technological evolution that humans had with wood and has served to create the world we know today .
Thus, the student has been able to use this knowledge to understand the organization of human groups in the past and interaction they establish with their territories in the use of space and the use of natural resources, assessing the consequences of such economic, social and environmental.
Similarly, this activity aims students to know and maintain an attitude of curiosity about the Cultural Heritage and Archaeological Mazarrón.
